OUR MISSION

To provide quality comprehensive behavioral health services to the residents of our community.

ABOUT US

Peninsula Behavioral Health (PBH) is a trusted 501(c)(3) nonprofit behavioral health agency dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health and substance use treatment services. Since our founding in 1971, we have been a cornerstone of care in Clallam County, with offices in Port Angeles and Sequim offering services for individuals of all ages—from youth to adults. At PBH, we believe that Hope Starts Here.

Each year, our team of over 140 dedicated professionals provides care to approximately 3,400 individuals, making PBH the most well-equipped behavioral health agency in the region. We specialize in addressing complex behavioral health needs through a collaborative, team-based approach that ensures comprehensive, personalized support.

Our full-time case management teams deliver intensive psychiatric rehabilitation services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, while our outreach programs provide vital support for those experiencing homelessness. We offer Transitional and Permanent Supportive Housing, outpatient services, and a robust adult day support program at the Horizon Center. Our Youth Services department offers therapy, care coordination and peer support in a variety of settings, including home, community, schools and office.  Additionally, PBH houses a full psychiatric team, an internal pharmacy, and integrated care coordination services to streamline treatment for our clients.

At PBH, we are committed to providing recovery-oriented, whole-person care that includes both psychiatric and primary health services. Our team prioritizes the use of Trauma Informed and Evidence-Based Practices to ensure timely, effective, and lasting outcomes. Most importantly, we believe that behavioral healthcare should be accessible to everyone—no one is turned away due to an inability to pay.
